Project to remove and dispose of the asbestos containing materials (ACM) located in the west control wing at the ARTCC in Olathe, Kansas. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. The contractor shall remove and dispose of all friable and non-friable asbestos containing material in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. 2. The contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing roofing systems. 3. The contractor shall remove and dispose of air handling units (AHU) numbers 230, 240, 250, and 290. 4. The contractor shall remove and dispose of all ventallation equipment, exhaust plenums, and environmental controls as required. 5. The contractor shall remove and dispose of a Polychlorinated Biphenylis (PCB) light ballast, conduit, supports, lightning conductors, a miscellaneous appurtenances as required. 6. The contractor shall furnish and install a single-ply adhered 60 mil EPDM system over a high-density fiberboard. 7. The contractor shall furnish and install conduit, supports, lightning conductors, new halogen lights, electrical panels, duct work, and apply sprayed on fireproofing to building steel.
