Synopsis: Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for District of Columbia Department of Public Works Project DPU-STP-0100(008) in Washington, D.C. This project consists of roadway rehabilitation, street lighting improvements, drainage improvements, traffic signal improvements, and miscellaneous work on 8th Street South East (SE), from M Street SE to Pennsylvania Avenue SE. The work includes removal of streetcar tracks and concrete pavement. The work also includes pavement milling, asphalt paving, reinforced concrete paving, granite curb, sidewalks, temporary and permanent traffic signal systems, installing utility conduits, removing and replacing street lighting, and other items. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about April 25, 2002. Bids will be due on or about May 28, 2002.
