Intent for limited competition for brand-name Peraton Inc.'s licenses and maintenance for a e.POWER software.

In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to contract on a single source basis for name-brand “Licenses and Maintenance for e.POWER Software”. The FAA has a requirement to procure the renewal of Peraton Inc.’s Licenses and Maintenance for e.POWER Software. Peraton Inc.’s e.POWER supporting Licenses will continue to provide the FAA’s Information Services Division and Solutions Operations Section B departments with a full suite of services. The FAA anticipates a period of performance for one base year, plus two (2) one-year option periods. Accordingly, the FAA has identified (1) authorized reseller/distributor, EC America, Inc. and as such will conduct a limited competition only amongst Peraton Inc. and their authorized reseller/distributor, EC America, Inc. The FAA intends to compete the requirement among the following companies: Peraton Inc. EC American, Inc. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparing of a response to this announcement.
