Request for comment on draft RFP number DTMA1R10004 soliciting logistics support services for the U.S. DOT/Maritime Administration. The purpose of the resulting contract is to provide logistics overhaul, material management and spare parts procurement support services as described in section C of the RFP to the Ready Reserve Force (RRF) and the U.S. Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration, Division of Logistics Support (MAR-614). The period of performance commencing February 1, 2011 will be one year with four one-year options.Pleased note the draft is a modified version of the RFP used to solicit the incumbent contract. It should be noted that this procurement has not yet been offered to SBA as a competitive set-aside. Nor has it been determined that MARAD will use the same method (VOA) to solicit electronic proposals.Review and comment of the draft RFP is respectfully requested.
