SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE NOTIFICATION TO CONTRACTORS

This posting hereby replaces the Sole Source Notification to Contractors posted to Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) on December 3, 2008. The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole source purchase (M67854-09-Q-3011) for 200 pairs of a cold weather over boot manufactured by Wolverine Worldwide for testing purposes only. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within five (5) days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
