This is a Notice of Intent to award Sole Source to Southeastern Equipment Company, INC., located at 3000 Mike Padgett HWY, Augusta, GA, 30906-3742 under the basis of authority of FAR 6.302-1 for restoration parts for a 1940 WWI era Sherman Flamethrower Medium Battle Tank. A determination has been made by the Government to use other than full and open competition for this acquisition (See Numbered Note 22). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider all vendor capabilities received within 5 days after date of publication of this notice of intent. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The following is an itemized parts list that the government intends on acquiring during this procurement for this special item. 12 each wheel assy, 12 each gudgeon, 12 each key, 12 each nuts, 1 each arm, 1 each arm, 4 each sprocket and attaching hardware, 2 each narrow track sprocket hub, assy and attaching hardware, 2 each vertical track idler wheel assemblies, 6 each roller, assy, 24 each roller assy hardware, 160 each shoe, track steel chevron.
