Each company is restricted to four (4) attendees per organization per event. Prospective offerors are encouraged to attend both the pre-proposal conference and the site visit. [email protected] NLT September 10, 2009 at 2:00pm EST. Participants are advised that the site visit involves walking through the buildings. Please indicate any special needs to Jennifer Logan, when requesting registration to ensure proper accommodations may be arranged. Participants at the site visit should enter Camp Pendleton through the main gate by exiting Interstate 5, exit 54C. All participants shall meet in the lobby of the Assault Amphibian School Battalion Building. Please see the attached map. Dress code for the site visit is business casual. Participants are advised to wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes to be safe and comfortable while walking through the facility. Cell phones with digital cameras or cameras of any kind are strictly prohibited. Security clearances are not required. However, registration is required, as described above. PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE Date: September 21, 2009 Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm LOCATION: EG&G, 1000 Corporate Drive, Suite 201, Stafford, VA 22554 (540) 658-3300 Prospective offerors are advised that the pre-proposal conference will be held solely for the purpose of explaining the First Article Training System requirements and terms and conditions of this solicitation. Any changes to the solicitation will only be provided by written amendments. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgement and receipt of any such amendment shall be applicable. In no event will failure to attend the pre-proposal conference constitute grounds for a claim after award of the contract. Directions to the pre-proposal conference are listed below: General Directions: Take I95S to 2nd Quantico Exit (NOT Triangle), turn left from southbound off ramp toward Quantico Main Base and US Hwy 1, take the US Hwy 1 South ramp to right, merge onto US Hwy 1 South, go to 1st stop light and turn right onto Corporate Drive, take Corporate Drive to the top of the hill and turn right into parking for 1000 Corporate Drive. Enter the building through the main entrance (East side) and take elevator to 2nd Floor. Turn right off elevator to Suite 201 and Reception. Sign in and obtain temporary daily facility badge. The Small conference room is immediately to the right; behind reception. Men's and Lady's Rest Rooms are to the left out of the Suite 201 Reception doors; along corridor, doors on the right.
