The Marine Western Pacific Innovation Forum for Communications and Information Technology

Thursday, January 17, 2013 III Marine Expeditionary Force G-6 is hosting The Marine Western Pacific Innovation Forum. This event is a 1-day forum in which III Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF), Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCIPAC), other Department of Defense (DoD) service component communications communities, as well as the training and education supporting establishments across Okinawa discuss pertinent command & control requirements, communications events, and new technologies. The purpose of this forum is to provide an opportunity for leaders in the communications field to share information and exchange ideas so as to foster and sustain vital relationships necessary to support all Western Pacific forces in both their garrison, as well as their theater security cooperation missions. Industry representatives in the Command & Control, Communications, Network Operations and Cybersecurity fields are invited to attend, but space is limited and attendance will be accepted on a first come, first served basis until we reach maximum capacity. There is also limited display capability (6’ or 8’ standard table) for brochures and equipment demonstrations. The forum will be held from 0700 - 1600 on 17 January 2013 at the Camp Butler Officer’s Club in Okinawa, Japan. All attendees are responsible for their own lodging and transportation to and from the event. To request attendance, send the name(s) of attendees, title, organization, email address, telephone number and whether you desire a display table (provide power requirements) to Master Gunnery Sergeant Allen at [email protected] no later than 5:00 PM Eastern on 7 January 2013. If space is available, the contractor will receive a confirmation e-mail for attendance. All attendees will be required to provide this e-mail at check in.
