The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with L3Harris. The requirement is for the purchase of the following: ITEM 0001: Part No. GCS-1524X-200 QTY: 2 ITEM 0002: Part No. GCS-1524A-050 QTY: 2 ITEM 0003: Part No. GCS-1524C2-01 QTY: 2 ITEM 0004: Part No. 1500-TRK-00. QTY: 6 ITEM 0005: Part No. 1524A-RK-050. QTY: 2 NIWC Pacific will be procuring the above-modified commercial items (Hawkeye III 2.4M Modem-less Terminal). The terminal is used for ground based satellite communication. Based on the approved Justification and Approval (J&A) (which will be posted after award), there is only one responsible source and no other supplier will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quote. A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government.
