NA Camp Stanley intends to enter into a sole source acquisition with Westbay Instruments Inc. of North Vancouver, BC to supply the MP System multi-level ground water monitoring equipment for four monitoring wells. Package consists of the Plastic MP38 System casing components for four monitoring wells, each 300 feet deep with eight primary monitoring zones and misc sampling equipment. System components: 60 each MP38 Casings 10ft lengths P/N 0201F10, 64 each MP38 Casings 5ft lengths P/N 0201F05, 32 each MP38 Casings 2ft lengths P/N 0201F02, 32 each MP38 Casings 1ft lengths P/N 0201F01, 64 each MP38 Packers w/stiffeners 5ft lengths P/N 0239F05, 64 each Measurement Port Couplings P/N 0205, 32 each Pumping Port Couplings P/N 0224, 156 each Regular Couplings P/N 0 202, 8 each End Caps P/N 0223, 32 each Magnetic Location Collars P/N 0216. Sampler Equipment components: 1 each MOSDAX Sampler Probe P/N 2531, 1 each MAGI Interface Software P/N 2536, 4 each Non-vented Stainless Steel Sample Container P/N 2408, Tripod Sh eave with Depth COunter P/N 9012, 1 each Sampling Kit P/N 4001, Manual Reel with 1000ft No. 9201 cable Waterra Hose 200ft and Two Foot Valves P/N 3033, and Motorized Winch with 1000ft cable P/N 9019. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received no later than the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
