The Joint Interagency Task Force South (JIATFS)/Regional Contracting Office (RCO) Key West, Florida, intends to negotiate a single source contract with SRI International. The proposed action is to obtain OLIVE RATS and balance of system equipment to include deployment, configuration, integration, technical support and knowledge transfer to the Government at JIATFS located at Truman Annex, NAS Key West, Florida, other CONUS and OCONUS locations. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items, 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.5. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document will be posted for this requirement. A determination by the Government to initiate a competitive solicitation based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The determination not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
