--Intent to Sole Source Cell Phone Services for the Recruiting Command, Oregon Army National Guard

The Oregon Army National Guard intends on Sole Sourcing a Firm Fixed Price-Requirements Contract on or about May 20, 2007 to Verzion Wireless to provide Cell Phone Services throughout Oregon. 1.1 The supplier shall furnish the following supplies-service if and when requested by the Contracting Officer during the period of 1 June 2008 through 31 May 2013. 1.2 Provide Cellular Phone Service for Recruiting & Retention Command for the period of 1 June, 2008 through 31 May, 2009 with four option years FY09 through FY13. a) Calling Plan: National Plan that consists of the following: i) 450 or 900 monthly anytime minutes ii) Unlimited night and weekend minutes iii) Free Mobile to Mobile Calling iv) Free Domestic Long Distance and roaming Since Verizon Business can provide the necessary Professional Cell Phone Services throughout Oregon, it would satisfy the Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement (FAR 6.302-1) of the ORARNG to have them perform these services at the same time. The vendor provides premium cellular and data services in outlying areas where other vendors cannot. We have reviewed the coverage, pricing, and services of all major vendors.
