F-15 Sustaining Engineering Services - Silver Bullet - FA8505-18 -R-0001 P00008

This sole source effort is for a requirements type contract for F-15 Sustaining Engineering Services - Silver Bullet. The purpose of this effort is to acquire post-production support tasks/services unique to the OEM as required to maintain an adequate level of continuous sustaining engineering and logistics support for the United States Air Force (USAF) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) F-15 fleets. The program is intended to be highly flexible and broad in scope to allow for quick reaction and adaptation to the demands of a dynamic and unpredictable operating environment. The contractor services required for sustainment include but are not limited to the following: to provide quick reaction, recurring, non-recurring, and sustaining engineering services; support accident and incident safety investigations; provide limited technical support; perform material improvement projects; perform ground and flight testing; and to develop, produce, and maintain engineering data. The contractor will maintain critical core capabilities and provide F-15 support to evaluate and respond to sustaining engineering problems, questions, and/or situations using the established Silver Bullet process. This modification is a four (4) 12-month to-be-negotiated options. The solicitation will be sent directly to The Boeing Company (CAGE: 0PXV4).
