The Engineering Support Branch at the Propulsion Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH anticipates a competitive acquisition for equipment maintenance and repair services to support the operations of the high voltage electrical distribution, rotating equipment and research support electrical equipment. This non-personal service shall provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, and other items and services necessary to perform electrical testing, operation, and maintenance and repair services. Services to be provided include removal and replacing, installing, and electrical acceptance testing of low, medium and high voltage supply, distribution and R&D electrical distribution equipment systems and facilities; engineering and data entry services to support maintenance and modification of electrical low, medium, and high voltage supply, distribution and R&D equipment, systems, and facilities; cleaning of electrical equipment facilities; record keeping; purchasing, receiving and invoicing of materials and services; storage and inventory, issue and disposal of contract purchased hazardous material. The contractor shall provide services from a company that is a full member and in good standing with InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA) to include NETA accreditation. Engineers and electricians shall be familiar with Industrial standards as they pertain to the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) Manual of Labor Units and/or RS Means electrical Cost Data and capable of meeting these standards for tasks/work assigned.
