NOTICE: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI), A MARKET SURVEY FOR INFORMATION ONLY. IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR 12, THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES AND THERE WILL BE NO CONTRACT AWARD FROM THIS RFI. THERE WILL BE NO REIMBURSEMENT FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS RFI OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS RFI IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS (SMALL BUSINESS, LARGE BUSINESS, ETC.) PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF A SOLICITATION, AS ONE DOES NOT EXIST. Requirement: The Government is seeking information from publishers and/or their agents to replenish materials in the below quantities for existing courseware. These materials will be utilized with current "Gleim" and "Jeppesen" courseware and must require no additional certification for instrcutors to teach or integrate into existing courses. The courseware must be certified for use as training material for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) aviation fields. Replacement courseware must be able to meet the same functions as the below listed materials: Title (Date) Quantity Publisher 1) Jeppesen Guided Flight Discovery (GFD) Private Pilot Video Series on DVD (PN#JS200310, no ISBN assigned) Qty:150 2) Gleim's Private Pilot Knowledge Test Prep Software Download 2012 Edition Qty:300 Interested concerns experienced in Pilot Training Courseware sales are requested to furnish the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, voice and fax telephone numbers and e-mail address. (2) Type of business, (i.e., small, small disadvantaged, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.), under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334611, which contains a size standard of 500 employees, CAGE Code and DUNS Number. (3) Provide a white paper explaining how the company can meet the Government's courseware requirements. E-mail responses to this request for information are preferred.
