The 5th Contracting Squadron at Minot AFB, North Dakota, intends to award a single source purchase order to McNaughton. as a result of the fact that The McNaughton Book Plan allows the Base Library to keep in compliance with Air Force and DoD library standards by upgrading the collection by 5% annually. Additionally, research suggests that reading fiction is a key element in attaining and maintaining literacy and can help foster resilience, so the loss of so many fiction materials would also hamper the Base Library’s ability to contribute to Air Force goals and initiatives. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is after 07 July 2022. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 05 July 2022 at 4:00 pm Central Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
