Thermovision Sentry Repair

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with FLIR Systems Inc. 25 Esquire Road North Billerica, MA 01862, for repair of Thermovision Sentry UC P/N 194760, to be utilized by the 160 th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. The proposed action will result in a firm fixed price purchase order and will contain the terms and conditions as identified under FAR Part 12. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1, the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Firms that feel they can meet this requirement are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solelywithin the discretion of the Government. Numbered Note 22 applies.
