Purchase Software Loader Progammer and the Reprogramming Services for the MH-60 Aircraft

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation, One Hamilton Road, Windsor Locks CT 06096-1010, for Automatic Flight Control Computer (AFCC) Software Loader Program and Reprogramming services, to be utilized for the MH-60 helicopter, or any other aircraft fielded for USSOCOM. The proposed action is for a commodity purchase and service for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this commodity or equal or service are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 22 July 2008.
