Notice of Intent to Award

The U.S. Army Special Operations Command intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Phantom Products Inc. Rockledge, FL to establish a firm fixed priced purchase order for Phantom AZL-15 Kit with delivery on or before 9 October 2015. Pursuant to DFAR 206.302-1 (d), a sources sought notice was posted from 24 August 2015 to 08 September 2015 resulting in the determination that this item is only available from the original manufacturer and not through dealers or distributors. Pursuant to the FAR Part 6.302.1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements for the above-cited supply/service. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, but merely notification of the Government's intent to enter into a contract with Phantom Products Inc, Rockledge, FL for one Phantom AZL-15 Kit. The Government's determination not to compete this proposed contract action is based on market research and the results of the sources sought notice. Responses to this notice may be collected for future requirements however, due to immediate mission needs, will not be considered for the purposes of this acquisition.
