The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to apply for approval of a Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT) project https://cto.acqcenter.com/osd/portal.nsf/ to evaluate US Army Program Manager Air Soldier Systems Advanced Signal Data Computer (ASDC), Heads Up Display (HUD), head tracking technologies, and capabilities to determine if the system can host current MH-60 Defensive Armed Penetrator (DAP) targeting capabilities. If approved as a FCT project, the U.S. Army Program Manager Air Warrior located at Huntsville, AL, intends to award a contract to Elbit Systems of America to integrate the Advanced Signal Data Computer into the MH-60 DAP to include incorporation of MH-60 DAP unique functionality into the ASDC software. Key characteristics of the final integrated solution include: 1. Symbology which provides required situational awareness for geographic points; 2. Interaction with the weapons systems to display the targeting solution for each weapon system; 3. A high level of accuracy (less than 5mrad(T)/2mrad(O)) of displayed information; 4. Latency within the overall system; such that there is no performance degradation (T) visible to the pilot. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only.
