Perceptive Pixel Inc. Multi-touch Screens

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to negotiate and award a sole source Open Market Order under the authority set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). Perceptive Pixel Inc is the only known source that provides multi-touch display screens that can be readily used by the analyst team, and with which they have familiarity, and is compatible with DoD and other agency systems. Perceptive Pixel Inc is also the only known source that can provide maintenance and technical support for the equipment. SEE ATTACHMENT 1 - STATEMENT OF WORK for a complete description . This requirement will result in a Firm-Fixed price Open Market Order to Perceptive Pixel Inc. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334119 and the size standard of less than $7Million in revenue during each of the three proceeding years. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ). Interested parties have ten (10) Calendar Days or until November 18, 2010 at 4:00 PM EST. Responses should be submitted in writing, to the identified point of contact, with clear and convincing evidence of their ability to provide the required services. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after November 18, 2010 at 4:00 PM EST, or without the required information, will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis and will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the Government's discretion.
