Microbiology Analyzer Preventative Maintence Agreement - Notice of Intent to Award - Single Source

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT: The 325th Contracting Squadron, Tyndall AFB, Florida, intends to negotiate a single source contract with bioMerieux, Inc. for maintenance of Tyndall's existing Microbiology Analyzer in accordance with the attached single source document. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.302 and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Interested organizations may submit their capabilites, and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact. Such capabilities and qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any incurred costs in preparation of capability statement.
