NOTICE DATE: AUGUST 6, 2014 Notice Type: Pre-solicitation NAICS: 333911 - PUMP AND PUMP EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING Contracting Office: Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, 200 Granby Street, Suite 815, Norfolk, VA 23510 The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, Norfolk, VA on behalf of Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) is soliciting a requirement to manufacture, test and deliver lube oil and controllable pitch propeller pumps and housings for NOAA Ship Oregon II, Pascagoula, MS. Provide all labor, material and equipment in accordance with the attached Statements of Work. Solicitation number EA-133M-14-RQ-0928 will be issued August 6, 2014 and will close August 19, 2014. The total period of performance for all work specified in the Statement of Work is ARO through November 28, 2014. Evaluation factors for Award The Government will issue a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation results in the best value to the Government, considering both price and nonprice factors as specified in the solicitation. The following factors will be used to evaluate quotations: Past Experience: Vendors shall provide a minimum of three jobs of similar scope, size and complexity within the past three years. Price: Vendors will be evaluated on the basis of low price in conjunction with past experience. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
