NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE 22 October 2019 The NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC), at Stennis Space Center, Mississippi 39529, hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i) to Sirsi Corporation. The vendor will be required to provide maintenance renewal of the SirsiDynix SYMPHONY integrated library system that is housed and supported at LaRC. The platform will allow each Center to independently access and create custom metrics related to their own customer-base. The maintenance renewal is required to ensure continuous coverage by the manufacturer and will consist of patches, updates, training and support. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested persons that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government's requirement within 5 calendar days of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
