Intent to Sole Source BPA - Bubany Lumber & Hardware

Indian Health Service - Gallup Indian Medical Center, Gallup, New Mexico, intends to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Bubany Lumber & Hardware Co., 111 N. 3rd St. Gallup, NM 87301, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), for the purchase of miscellaneous building supplies, lumber, materials and hardware on an as needed basis for the use by the Gallup Indian Medical Center (GIMC) Facilities Management Branch. The period of performance is February 24, 2014 - December 31, 2014 The anticipated award date is February 21, 2014. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 444130, size standard: 500 employees. This procurement of services is being conducted under FAR PART 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) soliciting from a single source authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated services may provide a capability statement. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time on February 21, 2014. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
