Notice of Intent for Sole Source Award for Maintenance and Repair Service for Trima Blood Cell Processors Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office(WRCO), Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Terumo BCT, Inc in the estimated amount of $40.236.00 for a base period plus one-year option period to purchase Maintenance and Repair Service for three Trima Blood Cell Processors. Terumo BCT, Inc has proprietary rights for all maintenance service, parts and repairs, which must be compatible with the existing Blood Cell Processors currently located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), Fort Bliss, TX. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications.
