[email protected]. Amendment 1 (03/30/15): The purpose of this amendment is to add a vendor Q&A document and to extend the quote due date and time by 24 hours. Amendment 2 (04/01/15): The purpose of this amendment is to re-open the solicitation and revise the attached solicitation and requirements and specifications documents. The quote due date and time have been changed. The changes to each of these documents are as follows: 1. The attached Solicitation document: - The FAR provision 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal has been added. - The revised document has been uploaded and is entitled: "Solicitation v2.0." 2. The attached Requirements & Specifications document: - The requirements for each appliance has been revised to make them less restrictive by adding a "Preferred Features" section to each appliance that lists features that are not required, but are only a preference of the government. A quotation that contains items that do not possess preferred features will not be deemed technically unacceptable. - The FAR 11.104 brand name or equal requirement description option has been utilized and a brand name product or products that were found during the market research phase to meet the government's requirements and most of the preferred features have been listed in the "Brand Name or Equal to" section for each appliance. It is NOT required for vendors to provide the brand names. Products satisfying all of the listed requirements (preferred features are not requirements) will be acceptable. - Certain requirements have been deleted in their entirety. - Internal capacity upper limits have been deleted. - The revised document has been uploaded and is entitled: "Requirements and Specifications v2.0."
