Software Upgrade to Assault Breacher Vehicle Stabilized Commander's Weapon Station

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD AS SOLE SOURCE The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Product Manager for Engineer Systems (PdM ES), Quantico, VA intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, in the first quarter of FY-16 to DRS Test & Energy Management, LLC (DRS) (CAGE 24290; DUNS 187675624) to upgrade the embedded diagnostics software for the Assault Breacher Vehicle (ABV) Stabilized Commander's Weapon Station (SCWS). This sole source award will allow DRS to upgrade the ABV embedded diagnostics software to cover the SCWS. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a quotation and technical capabilities, which, if received within fifteen calendar days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by MCSC. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
