The Defense Security Service (DSS) intends to issue an award on a sole source basis to International Software Systems, Inc., 7337 Hanover Parkway, Suite A, Greenbelt, MD 20770 for a requirement to acquire 150,000 SumTotal software licenses and 160,500 SumTotal software license renewals. The anticipated award date is Friday, August 29, 2014 under NAICS 511210. The size standard associated with this NAICS is $38,500,000 dollars. The period of performance will be for one base year and four option years. A determination not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government. This notice is for informational purposes only; IT IS NOT a request for competitive quotes. The Government intends to award this requirement non-competitively IAW FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii),"Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirement"; because the Government expects a substantial duplication of cost to compete this requirement for the follow on effort. This determination was made after conducting market research for this acquisition. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.
