The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Midstates Area Procurement Office intends to issue on a sole source basis with Bureau Van Dijk Electronic Publishing, Inc. for a quantity of 1 year maintenance for SecureCRT and SecureFX licenses. The services required can only be performed by Van Dyke Software, Inc. because this is the only vendor which holds proprietary rights to this software. The resulting purchase order will be for a one year period, with a period of performance from January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013. The Government intends to solicit and award with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals. Any other interested organizations must submit a written statement of their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill this requirement to the identified point of contact as soon as possible, but not later than 12:00 am (CST) on September 23, 2012.
