R -- Reconciliation Services for Accounting, Financial, and Contractual Records

Contractor shall provide the necessary labor for services to reconcile accounting, financial, and contractual records to support the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS)as well as non-DFAS Department of Defense (DOD) components. Services shall include but not be limited to identifying and correcting out of balance conditions, unmatched disbursements, and negative unliquidated obligations. The Contractor shall perform tasks to support contract closeouts and correct problems with outstanding or remaining unliquidated obligations. These services involve payments made by and accounted for by various DFAS organizations. Services will be for an initial period of 12 months and four 12 month option periods thereafter. The procurement will be firm-fixed-price IDIQ with time and material elements. Solicitation is available for download from the DFAS website at www.dfas.mil.
