Based on current requirements the option will be exercised for repair support of the Manual Reverse Osmosis Desalinator.

This notice of intent is to exercise option year 1 against the current contract, N0010411DC002, that was solicited on a sole source, COTs basis in May 2011 and awarded to Katadyn North America in Spetember 2011. At time of award all prices and terms and conditions were reviewed and evaluated for fair and reasonableness. After review of future forecasted requirements it was determined that exercising option year 1 is in the best interest of the goverment.
