One-year site license renewal with two option years for renewal with InsideDefense.com

NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to InsideWashingtonPublishers DBA InsideDefense,com. The proposed contract action is for a one-year site license renewal with two option years for renewal; IP authenticated, campus-wide access to InsideDefense.com; including the following resources Inside the Pentagon, Inside the Navy, Inside the Army, Inside the Air Force, and Inside Missile Defense. Access also includes e-mail notification services for DefenseALERT, DefensePLUS, SITREP, DefenseNEXT, Defense Budget Alert, C4ISR Watch, and more. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Inside Washington Publishers is the sole source supplier of these electronic tools. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document is available. Interested parties shall submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due by Monday, January 9, 2012, 12:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time (PST), via email or fax.
