This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for proposal (RFP). The The Virginia Contracting Activity intends to procure solicitation number 498/0007Z/05 as a sole source, Firm Fixed price contract. The award date is expected to be no later than 01 December 2004. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-25. The negotiation authority for this requirement is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). The NAICS Code assigned to this project is 323115 and the size standard is 500 employees. This contract is to be awarded to Pittman Company, which is a large business located in Jessup, Maryland. The contractor will provide AGFA printing plates and finishers for The Office of Web and Digital Services located in Washington DC, 20340. Award will be based on an all or none basis and no substitutions will be permitted. The line items will be as follows: CLIN 0001 – K3SR7000 AGFA SF1PE 21 5/8 x 25 5/8 x 008 Plates, Qty: 6500 each, CLIN 0002 – K3TEM000 AGFA SF1PE 28 1/8 x 35 ¼ x 008 Plates, Qty: 6500 each, CLIN 0003 – KXTPZ000 AGFA Finsher 028 20 Liter, Qty: 20 each, CLIN 0004 – KWUV8000 AGFA Developer ND-232 20 Liter, Qty: 35 each. Additionally, the offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (ALT I)(APR 2002), and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (NOV 1995), with this offer.
