Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic intends to award a sole source contract for a commercial purchase of the annual renewal of RS Means CostWorks software maintenance

Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic intends to sole source a contract for the commercial purchase of the digital version of the RS Means Cost Data books for new and renovation construction including work labor costs for the current and past calendar years to R. S. Means Company, LLC. The contract term will be for one year. Only one responsible source is able to provide the type of service that will satisfy the agency requirements. This sole source acquisition meets the conditions of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements should contact Linda Stein at [email protected]. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and will be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. If no written responses are received within three (3) days after publication of the special notice, the contract will be awarded without further notice. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 511210, Software Publishers, and the SBA size standard is $38.5 million.
