The Defense Logistics Agency, Enterprise Support Office intends to award a sole source fixed price Purchase Order using Fedearal Acquistion Regulation (FAR) 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to the Associated Press under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. Government-wide Notes #22 applies. The purpose of this procurement is to acquire software support of the Associated Press’ AP Preserver software. This software support is considered sole source because the software is owned and operated by the Associated Press. There is no other vendor that can offer support for the AP Preserver software. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believe it is capable of meeting the requirement as stated herin may submit a response, which if received within 4 calander days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed purcahase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Governmnet.
