Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Smiths Detection Maintenance and Support Services

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE- This is a Notice of the Government's intent to negotiate a sole source contract to Smiths Detection, Inc. Pentagon Force Protection agency has a requirement for maintenance and support services for all Smiths Detection X-ray Machines and associated equipment located on the Pentagon Reservation. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. For any questions concerning this notice, please send inquiries to [email protected]. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the services required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to this Notice of Intent no later than 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, 13 December 2018 by email [email protected]; no telephone communications will be entertained.
