Repair of Repairables (ROR) for the Automatic Wire Test Set (AWTS)

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst NJ intends to enter into negotiations on a non-competitive basis with Eclypse International Corporation, Corona CA, for Repair of Repairable (ROR) services for the Automatic Wire Test Set (AWTS) under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). It is anticipated that the ROR services will provide depot repair support for the AWTS over a one (1) year period. This depot repair will support the full rate production of the AWTS. The Government anticipates the award of firm-fixed price delivery orders under the BOA. Eclypse International is the original equipment manufacturer of the AWTS and the only source with the technical expertise and data required for ROR support. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
