66 -- Electronic Transmission Microscope Upgrade

The US Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service in Parlier, Ca. has a requirement to upgrade are existing FEI electronic transmission microscope by adding a software controled computer system, customer Training, slow scan camera and image capture system. The system will control all functions and operate the microscope, includes user interface, controls CCD, STEM Detectors EDS EELS & data acquisition. This product includes PN5016/1x G2upgrade, compressor & MegaView 11 Slow-Scan Camera and image capture. The USDA intends on negotiating with the only known source for this product FEI Company, Hillsboro, OR. A solicitation is not available interested firms are encouraged to submit proposals to the address listed in this notice. Funds are not available at this time to support this action and an award will not be made until funds are available see FAR part 52.232-18 & numbered not 22.*****
