16--Integration of Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) into MH-60R/S Aircraft

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place an order, or class of orders, against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-03-G-0014 with Lockheed Martin Systems Integration (LMSI), Owego, NY, for the supplies and services required to integrate the Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) software module into the Avionics Operating Program (AOP)/ Flight Management Program (FMP) software on MH-60R and MH-60S helicopter platforms. This effort includes engineering support and technical interchange for the initial tailoring of the GPWS software, development of engineering software releases of the AOP/FMP containing GPWS interfaces, integration and testing of the GPWS software module in the AOP/FMP, flight test support to demonstrate GPWS performance, and integrated logistics support. LMSI is the sole developer and manufacturer of the MH-60R/S avionics suite. As such, LMSI is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and access to data required to perform this effort.
