R -- Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Executive Management Council Advisory And Assistance And Systems Engineering And Technical Assistance Support Services to the MDA Front Office

This notice provides notification that the FINAL Request For Proposal (RFP) has been released. Proposals are due April 22, 2005, 11:00 AM local time (Washington, DC) as delineated in the RFP. Award is planned for June 15, 2005 for the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) acquisition of a contract for advisory and assistance and systems engineering and technical assistance support services for support to the MDA Deputy Director for Ballistic Missile Defense System Integration (MDA/DN), the MDA Deputy Director for Technology & Engineering (MDA/DT), and the MDA Chief of Staff (MDA/DS), and as required, to the MDA Director (MDA/D), Deputy Director (MDA/DD), Executive Director (MDA/DX), Deputy Director, Business Management (MDA/DM), and Deputy Director, International Affairs (MDA/DI). The RFP, including all RFP Attachments and Forms, has been posted on the MDA Business Acquisition Reporting Bulletin Board New Procurements and Awards website at http://www.acq.osd.mil/mda/barbb/newpa.html for downloading. No hard copies will be mailed and/or provided by MDA. The subject matter title is "RFP for MDA Front Office - DN, DS, DT A&A SETA Support." The only documents that have changed from the previous draft posting of February 25, 2005 are the main RFP document (Sections A through M); the Statement of Objectives - Atch 1 (dated 2005-03-02); the Award Fee Plan - Atch 3 (dated 2005-03-11); and the Personnel Skills / Capabilities / Attributes - Atch 4 (dated 2005-02-28). These four documents supersede the previously posted items. Also posted is an updated MS WORD document entitled "00 BARBB Posted Items - Change Record" that highlights major changes from previous draft documents posted, an updated MS Excel file entitled "Interested Parties List" of firms who have expressed an interest in this acquisition, and a new MS WORD document entitled "00 Questions & Answers 2005-03-14". The subject line for all electronic correspondence shall start with "HQ0006-05-001".
