Tagging, Tracking, and Locating (TTL) Equipment for Various Warfighter Customers

SPAWARSYSCEN Charleston intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of COTS/NDI Tagging, Tracking, and Locating (TTL) sensors and ancillary equipment to include fielding and logistics support for various joint commands and other customers. These customers have a requirement for the procurement and support of portable, lightweight equipment to provide an immediate capability to tag, track, and locate targets. The TTL equipment must provide the user with enhanced situational awareness from various emplaced sensor devices. This procurement will provide the Warfighter with critical capabilities as outlined in OPLAN 7500 and the Joint Improvised Explosive Devices Defeat Organizationýýýs operational needs statement. This procurement will be unrestricted, with award to be made via full and open competitive proposals. The anticipated award date of the subject contract is scheduled for October 2008.
