This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 -Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. Defense Contract Management Agency - Headquarters, intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price contract to PDT, Inc., located at 8330 Amberleigh Way, Dublin, OH, 43017 on a Sole Source basis. Description of Work- the Defense Contract Management Agency requires ongoing maintenance/support/professional services and upgraded hardware and software in support of the Help Desk IP PBX Maintenance now called Service Center CIC Upgrade. The objective of the project is to deploy Interaction Intelligence Customer Interaction Center (CIC) version 4.0 at the DCMA Service Center within the current deployment architecture. Deliverables will be the virtualization of the CIC application servers and the addition of Media Servers. Duration of the contract is 60 months from date of award. Authority-FAR 13.501(a) The Government's intent is to solicit and award this requirement to PDT, Inc. Competition has been restricted due to the proprietary nature of the requirement. No sources were located that were technically acceptable without having to replace our current system costing the Government well over 50% in additional costs. It has thus been determined that it is in the Government's best interest to award this requirement as a sole source. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED. The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 517911 "Telecommunications Resellers" The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 1,500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. Oral communications are NOT ACCEPTABLE in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
