Notice of Intent to Sole Source Procurement of UVC Device for Memphis VA Medical Center, TN This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. The Department of Veterans Affair s NCO-9, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed priced delivery order against Tru-D s GSA FSS contract no. GS-07F-031CA, unless an interested party can show their device is compatible with Tru-D s SmartUVC Disinfection device. A sole source procurement will be issued to Tru-D because the facility has set a standard through its initial and prior purchase of the same device, which will ease administrative burdens relative to contract maintenance and ensure continuity of patient healthcare by staff already familiar with the operation and use of its current Tru-D devices. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with (IAW) VHAPM Part 808.405-6, Limiting Sources and FAR 8.405-6(a). The NAICS code is 335129 and has a size standard of 500 employees. SCOPE OF WORK: Memphis VA Medical Center owns three Tru-D SmartUVC devices and seeks to procure three additional units. No options were considered.
