Asphalt Drive Replacement, U.S. Border Station, 2 Second Ave, International Falls, MN 56649. This project involves the replacement of the primary ingress/egress road system through the site. The requirement is for removal of an estimated 26,300 square feet of surface area to be removed to a depth of 30 inches. The successful contractor will install a six inch drainage layer with ABS drain plastic integrated into two existing drain fields, covered by a six inch sub base covered by a 12 inch base with two three inch lifts of asphalt (one binder course and one wear course). The overlay area includes approximately 6700 square feet of driveway area contiguous to the drive lane and providing egress into secondary car inspection. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 with size standard of $28.5 million. The estimate range of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000. The completion time is 10 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) date. The Request for Proposal will be issued on or about June 1, 2003.This procurement is open to all business concerns. Specification and detailed requirements will be furnished with the solicitation and will be forwarded via Compact Disc (CD) to all interested parties by mail and facsimile request only. No telephonic or electronic mail requests will be honored. Company’s Dun & Bradstreet number, 3.) Valid Tax Identification Number, 4.) A valid picture state driver’s license (for persons picking up SBU documents).
