65--HOLOGIC MAMMOGRAPHY SERVICE CONTRACT INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

VAMC FAYETTEVILLE, Fayetteville, North Carolina intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for Hologic Mammography Systems control contract for FY 17. Vendor will service VAMC Fayetteville. The one year contract will cover PM corrective maintenance of Mammography systems at FNC HCC. This requirement is intended for award to : Hologic Inc., under the authority 6.302-1. The North American Industry Classification System for this acquisition is 811219, small business size standard: $20.5 million. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 3 days of publication (on/before 18 November 2016). A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
