Estimated Solicitation Posting Date: 20 June 2006, 19:00 Baghdad Time This is a synopsis for a firm-fixed-price procurement of various pieces of machinery. The Government may make one or multiple awards from this solicitation so each contract-line-item-number must stand-alone when pricing. In accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(4)(i), award shall be made on the basis of Best Value , which in the Government’s estimation provides the greatest overall benefit to the user. Items will be delivered to Baghdad, Iraq The solicitation and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on http://www.rebuilding-iraq.net. U.S. contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration in order to be eligible for award. Capable of at least 3,450 rpms.Grinder, Air (Small) Royobi AG451K, 4.5 inch grinder, or equal: capable of at least 11,000 rpm Hammer, 4lb (2.3kg) Stanley 4 pound backsmith FG Hamm Model 56-220 or equal Tire Changing Machine Bend-Pak's Tire Changer Ranger RX-950 or equal (must be 220v compatible)Saw 14" Quickie Tactical & Rescue Gear's K750 Ring Saw or equal Saw, Breaching Tactical & Rescue Gear's K950 Ring Saw or equal Charger, Battery (vehicle)must be 220v Compatible Surge Protector, UPS APC UPS/Surge Protector (BE325R) or equal. 6 outlets (3 UPS/Surge, 3 Surge-only; 325VA).
