Integrated Mechnaical Diagnostics System (IMDS) Production and Retrofit Support

NEW DESCRIPTION: The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a follow-on sole source contract modification with Goodrich Corporation, Simmonds Precisions, 100 Panton Road, Vergennes, VT. Goodrich Corporation is the only source with the data and resources needed to perform this effort on the MH-60 aircraft. The anticipated modification to the order will be for Goodrich to coordinate, execute, and integrate the technical program tasks as they pertain to Systems Engineering, Configuration Management and Quality Assurance. Goodrich shall also fabricate and deliver Integrated Mechanical Diagnostic System (IMDS) per the Government-approved MH-60S IMDS Specification and Flight Clearance Data which includes the MH-60S Mechanical Interface Control Document (MICD) and associated drawings. For the MH-60R aircraft, the IMDS Specification and Flight Clearance Data which includes the MH-60R MICD and associated drawings. The IMDS consists of onboard system hardware and software. Numbered Note 22 applies.
