D--POINTWISE INC. SOFTWARE LICENSE AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT RENEWAL

Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Ship Systems Engineering Station (NSWCCD-SSES) intends to procure on a sole source basis from Pointwise Inc. Software License and Maintenance Support Renewal Services for a period of one year. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A detemination by the Goverment not to compete with this proposed ontract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable.
