84--Sources Sought-Windbreakers for Soldiers of The Old Guard, 3d Infantry Regiment

MICC - Fort Belvoir Sources Sought Synopsis: This RFI is for market research purposes only. Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents shall not submit any proprietary information when responding to this RFI. Respondents shall also note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this RFI. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents regarding any responses to this RFI. Respondents shall submit capability statements that clearly define the company's ability to provide the services stated in this RFI. This requirement is for up to 500 Windbreakers, Black w/liner, form , Men for the 3d U.S. Infantry, traditionally known as quote mark The Old Guard quote mark . The windbreakers must conform to the following specifications: DESCRIPTION - The black windbreaker is made of polyester and wool (65/35), in Army shade 458 and has a Velcro-in liner. The enlisted windbreaker has a standard collar, knit cuff and waist. The Female windbreakers have bust darts. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The contractor must provide a sample of product prior to contract award for approval, regardless if contractor has been used before or not. For RFI purposes, pictures and specifications of the windbreakers may be attached to any company documentation listed below sent to the below listed point of contact. THIS RFI IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine potential large and small business firms capable of providing the supply and/or services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition for Men and Women's Windbreakers. The NAICS contemplated for this requirement is 315220 with a size standard of 500 employees. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION: Please provide a capability statement addressing your company's ability to provide the services required above. Include only general capabilities relative to the requirement as this is not a solicitation and no responses will be considered as proposals.
